These links provide another admittedly incomplete list of resources for people who are interested in learning more about the 1997 amendments to IDEA. In this case, the focus is the regulations resulting from the amendments.

• The US Department of Education's OSERS IDEA What's New Page provides the most current information from the government. OSERS also has a link for notices from the Federal Register; though these two links often have the same information, they sometimes differ.
• CEC's Public Policy pages provide information about the organization's positions on current events, including IDEA regulations.
• The Arc's page covering new developments in government affairs is a good one to monitor for that organization's positions.
• Also, look at the pages offered by the usual suspects represented in our list of on-line legal resources about special education.
• We also provide copies of some public statements about IDEA regulations made by organizations concerned about special education, including the Council for Exceptional Children, the CEC's Division for Learning Disabilities, the Council for Children With Behavioral Disorders, and the Division for Early Childhood.
